Called telling me I have had a car accident, I don t own a car. English speaking woman who then put me through to an Indian / Pakistani speaking man.

Caller failed to speak but stayed on line then hung up.

This number called me but I did not answer. I then called it back only to be told I had dialled an incorrect number...I didnt type the number just pressed redial, so I believe this to be a very dodgy number.

Worked with Emenac Soft many times and i must say they are true web geeks. I like their professional approach and attitude. I am happy with them.

Cold caller rang saying he had been looking for me for ages as he had news about compensation from a factory I had worked at. I was suspicious and ended the call.

And the point to this phone call? Exactly where did they get my name & phone number from.

Dropped the call as soon as it was answered.

silent call for 30 seconds , then an automated voice at the end said goodbye.

Found out it s a timeshare cold call based in Tenerife. What they actually do is speak as if they are talking to someone else saying I can t hear anyone on the other end of the line, eventually put the phone down and wait for the person to call them back, obviously at their own cost. So be warned and beware.

Pre-recorded message purporting to be from Amazon saying that my account was about to be debited and to press 1 to stop it.

Caller said he was from Microsoft. I immediately hung up. Microsoft scam!

This number called me this afternoon but hung up when I answered, why do they do that??
