Scam call spposedly from Amazon Prime

Missed call, rang once, picked it up and call ended. Tried to call number back and message was "The number you have dialled is not in service"

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Scam phone call saying they are going to cut off the internet. Hung up before they could finish which I regret as I didn t find out who they were going to pretend to be

Someone left me a message using the wrong name, telling me they are from my bank but not telling me the banks name. Scam?

They ring me every day and I normally hang up the phone but today I answered and they asked if I was who I am and then said okay thank you bye didn t really understand the point of the call to be honest!!

Called after 9pm -- no message left.
