Told me he knew me and said I needed new loft insulation when I questioned him about this statement and told him I had not long ago replaced it he replied "replaced what!" I repeated loft insulation and he said some profanity and slammed the phone down on me...stay awawy from this one is my advice!

Possible scam. Women said she was from Amazon and they'd noticed unusual activity on my Mum's account. Told her to press 1 if she hadn't bought something for £700. Mum was suspicious, rang off, got the number by dialing 1471 then rang it back. Women who answered refused to give her name and said she hadn't called Mum and didn't work for a company.

Scam - caller was from Microsoft and requested that I open my computer, as they have received notification over the last four days, that cyberware/hackers etc have got access to my computer. If I do not let them have access they will have to stop any computer from being used at this address.

SCAM - pretend to be calling to book me for a conference at ExCel London in November because I have previously attended it before using a Manchester local number. Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
