A google search does come back with the number linking it to India and I have been getting some calls from India in the last month or so. Obviously I never answer these calls.

They rang, called me by name, claimed to be from Legal & General Domestic Services, said that my washing machine warranty was running out, did I want to renew it. My washing machine is over 20 years out and never had an extended warranty, also I don't have any warranties from Legal & General. When I started asking questions they hung up.

Robotic-sounding guy claimed to be responding to reported housing issues. Failed to answer questions (I couldn't hear who he said he was, asked twice, no clear answer), but put me through to speak to an Asian sounding bloke who also didn't respond to me when I asked how exactly were my housing issues reported to them if I cannot remember speaking to anyone other than my landlord. Apparently the TPS web server is down, so they had to contact me by phone and not email. This is the 2nd similar call today. My TPS registration will expire tomorrow. Do not believe them, as TPS *never* phone customers!!
