Two texts from this unknown number claiming to be a smart meter installer.

SPAM/SCAM Over the last 4 days have had 2 calls a day from the same Manchester auto caller, just the last 3 numbers changed each call. Shows it’s from the same caller system. Have called back at the start of it but goes to electronic sound. Advice toy you if you see these numbers 01615202… then don’t answer and block it.
Received 2 consecutive calls from this number middle of the night at 2.21 a.m. and then 2.23 a.m. Both times rung 3 tines then stopped.

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.

Telephone message telling me I was wanted for not paying taxes in an American accent.
Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.
