Got a call at work for a hair appointment in Derby (approx. 200miles from where I live). Never heard of them but they knew my name and where I worked.
SCAM she says she was from Amazon security and that a mobile phone had been purchased on my husband's account, she said they'd sent an email, he was on Amazon at the time so I told him to check his order's and no phone had been purchased, he disconnected the call, later she sent an email with a link to click, I deleted the email.

Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. I have a trueCall installed for my mother best investment ever!!! She has had 41 calls from this number since July. Coincidently, or possibly not, this number started calling after she replied to an advert in the local paper for a free hearing aid. Since replying to the advert here unsolicited calls have gone up from 40 to 80 a month. All blocked fortunately.
