Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case. The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!

This call was from EE broadband. I had been on the website and the day later they gave me a call. They couldnt leave a note on the account as i wasnt a customer with them currently. but they directed me to the official ee website where it showed me the numbers that are associated with EE and it was there. I even called the number back and it said we was called today by EE. They also sent me a text from EE also to put me at ease. Really helpful Hull staff and answered all the questions i had about joining. N
