Got a call from this number this morning saying they were from the Carphone Warehouse...... they rang off when I mentioned the number displayed did not appear to be a business number

02045772716 is a SCAM. The caller tells you that the warranty on your washing machine has expired and needs to be renewed. I don’t have a washing machine and never have had. However, most people DO have a washing machine – so BEWARE.

SCAM automated call allegedly from HMRC threatening prosecution and asking you too press 1. Do not engage and hang up, this is not HMRC and is simply fraud.

Foreign asian voice. "I'm 'phoning about your Insurance claim" I asked where from. He answered UK. I replied "You dirty liar I'm reporting you to the police." and phone went dead I did the (call back) and number 0141 649 0791 came up. I dialed this number with and without area code but "the number you have dialed has not been recognised" What is BT playing at allowing unregistered numbers to call. I hold them responsible. Should the police not be involved.

Had an urgent message come up on my computer and my computer was locked . Was told to call the 59 telephone number to resolve the numerous problems with my computer. They went into my computer and resolved the error message and claimed that they had put on

Right. Had quite an issue with this one. Picked up first time and it hung up. Second time I picked up it was an indian sounding bloke who said he will rape me if I dont accept his phone contract (?????)

Just asked my name then hung up, third time they've done this. I've blocked them now.

Asian female stating she was from BT who were following up error messages with my router. Hung up when challenged to provide the name of the BT account holder.

Foreign sounding lady asking for Mr. ? I asked which one, she said ( female name !) I said this sounds like a scam and hung up. The woman has yet to call back.

Got a text message from this number claimed to be from Hermes

The debt collections company called portfolio recovery associates having a call centre in Swansea (never heard of one there before, I think they buying loads of telephone numbers all over the country and diverting all calls to a central office as I called that number several times, stayed on phone just long enough to hear voice and no one spoke with a welsh accent. Only Scottish lol) and calling themselves PRA so u don't know who they are so you admit who you are before they divulge more information. Crafty
