Can people calling this number send an email to [email protected] instead to explain why they are trying to call please? This is a private number but the holders are receiving a lot of calls from random people.
Fraud. Claiming to DPD local, I go onto DPD local’s actual site, using the tracking number provided by this number via a dodgy looking website and no parcel found. Do not trust this number nor pay anything to get a “parcel” redelivered. The website has a red banner at the top with the writing “dpd local” in white. Where as the actual site has a white banner with “dpd” in black writing and “local” in blue writing.
Called and asked if I'd been in an accident - I said yes as I thought it might be to do with my friends insurance was then passed to another man - I asked who exactly he was associated with - he said "feasible" and said he was calling to help me

I believe it's PPI. They have started to vary the numbers, but the dialing code is always a local one, so you think it's possibly someone you know.

Stating to be HMRC and a tax fraud alert has been made in my name. I had to press 1 to talk to an officer or an arrest warrant would be made and I would have police at my door immediately. SCAM of some sort, I didnt press 1 so dont know what they would have done

I just got a call from this number about PPI ,trying to confirm my details etc. I played along for about ten minutes then called his bluff. He started cursing and swearing at me down the phone but seemed a little taken aback when I gave him far worse than anything he was saying to me.
Just called me again at 6.16pm when I was about to sort out something to eat. Wish these idiots would get lost and stop pestering as this is three I have had from 0800 169 1608 since 10am this morning.
