Caller claimed to be from Amazon about renewal of Prime Membership. Hurrah renewal price was much cheaper! Therefore not a very clever scam. Come on someone - shut them down!
Called regarding life insurance, and knew my name. I asked her where she got my number as I am signed up to TPS, and she said she would make sure my number was taken off the list...she said that last time too...absolute trash these companies. They want to get community service for this harassment, never mind a fine. They want shaming for the filth they really are!

Rang 26JAN18 @ 12h12. Female, east-european voice, knew my name, wanted to talk to me about heating and insulating my house. I terminated the call.
This number calls me multiple times a day for the past 3 days and I never answer. Don't know who it is and have no plans to answer the phone.
They say they are from BT then try to get you to believe you have a broadband fault and then get you logged on your computer to resolve the problem-yeah right!! If you call the number back it is just a ghost number.

Don t know who these people are or how they got my number. I only ever first set foot in the UK 2 years ago, so there s no way I could have possibly taken out a loan. Silvershine Services. 4 calls in 48 hrs all from Leicester based numbers. Call starts off with an automated voice asking about accident details. After answering yes and giving brief details, I am put through to a human being. Despite telling them on NUMEROUS occasions now that I DO NOT wish to receive these call, they still persist. Asking them to remove your number just results in the person you re speaking to ending the call. Reported to ICO

At first I thought they were legit saying they were Homeserve to discuss Warranties on my white goods. They knew my full name, address details, and obviously had my phone number, but when the conversation turned to my financial details.......smelt a rat! SCAM I have received a number of calls over several months. It is using EE. They were from different mobile numbers but from the same location. it would seem the location is being used to make scam calls. This needs to be investigated by the authorities.
