Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Pretends to be the Association of British Insurers. They have details of insurance claims. I contacted Abi.org.uk and it is nothing to do with them.
This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Had 3 calls so far today, 1 in morning 2 afternoon, all hang up after I pick up, regardless of wait time. No one knows my landline either, so don’t know how it’s being called unless it’s malicious. Other numbers that called to same extent were 01330 560922 and 01689 814765, both equally as perplexing.
Claiming to be HMRC and that i would be getting in trouble. I then hung up but i assume they would be asking me for personal details and bank account to pay some sort of fine. SCAM!!!!

Also received from 01795432276. Caller said that £300 would be debited from our account from Amazon, also a much larger amount. These are not the first times these calls have been received. Checks on my accounts haven't found and debits so they must be scams.

Scam exceptionally aggressive Micheal Masterson (suspect not his real name) bitcoin salesman who said to a female, quote "I'm recording this and all your calls, you are not even a human to me, I'm going to report you to the financial industry standards, you dickhead, do you want me to report you for not answering my questions?" I'd told him that I was not interested in and that I had told the previous 43 callers the same! Does the phone blocking facility ever get full? Hope not.
