This call sounds automated and suggests that the person answering the call is involved in a case of tax fraud. It requires to depress number one on your keypad to find out further information otherwise you will be contacted by HMRC. This looks to be a scam.

I suspect this phone number has been cloned and, given the caller's accent and the quality of the line, is being used by a call centre from abroad. Almost definitely a scam.

DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE
Have had a text with a link stating I have had funds added to my accident claim and to click the link for more info. Haven’t as I don’t recognise the number. Be cautious

Human voice saying pre-recorded statements about having got my number from the RTA department and was I in an accident recently. Asked her to clarify recently and it was 2-3 years which gave the game away. I m usually really careful with my number so I think it s an auto-dialer.

This company trawl the Internet for car sales adverts the call the seller saying they had been instructed by your insurance company to claim injury compensation, if there are pictures of your car they use the reg mark to try and trick you they are genuine. They are just fishing! Hang up.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Scam/Criminal This number repeatedly dialed me from onwards 28/10/2015, after 5 days I put them on call reject. I ve just noticed that the scamers/criminals are trying it again (they must be either scams or criminals because their ignoring the UK ICO and TPS Preference Scheme Codes).
