Tclaimed to be paypal, all seemed fine untill he asked too many personal questions and then asked for the 3 digits from the back of my card, at which point the alarm bells went off. I cancelled the call

SCAM Has called 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Automated message £300 spent at Amazon and £1000 bank transfer to a foreign country. Alleges to come from your bank but doesn't say which one! Press 1 to speak to bank or press 2 to speak to an advisor. I am fed up of them calling and I put the phone down or let it go to answer phone.

This number was attached to a scam text telling me a virgin money account (not a customer) was placed on hold. All false.

SCAM - received a text from this number saying it was from British Gas and to reply with meter readings. Called the number and the recorded message said that the number wasn’t recognised. BEWARE!!!

This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

Gentleman with a northern accent claiming to be our towns child safety officer Telling us how we'd signed up to a child safety booklet to go to our local schools. As he couldn't pronounce the names of the schools correctly that didn't really help his cause Told him we'd never spoken before to which he quickly replied "ah right ok leave it with me" and then promptly hung up

Called this morning. I do not know anyone in Leeds. Caller was a woman with an (Indian?) accent. Caller told me that I needed debt. A weird call, caller did not use my name, identify herself or tell me why I needed debt.

Text message saying hi mum my phone wont turn on text back on this number its important Bad grammar so I knew for certain its not something my kids would ever send

Same Indian person who called last week about SSE shares. When asked if he represented SSE he did have the decency to say No directly. At which point the call was terminated. Obviously they do not record the results of their calls, so can we expect more calls in the future with the hope that we will in a moment of madness change our position?

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

Think I stick with my Google Pixel 6 thanks. When I asked to be taken off there call list the caller got aggressive and angry. Think he was mad because couldn't scam me.
