Yep, same thing happened to me. One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!

Had a call from 02035534016 turns out to be the Leicester Air Ambulance.
It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.
Phoned at 7.10am and rang off when I answered, so I don't know who it was. Just annoyingly early on a Saturday morning.
I rang this number back its 1st call group. Did google search, it's a PPI selling group. Looks dodgy. The times they call are not normal business hours.

I have a trueCall installed for my mother best investment ever!!! She has had 41 calls from this number since July. Coincidently, or possibly not, this number started calling after she replied to an advert in the local paper for a free hearing aid.
