I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. I answered the call to be asked if I d had a car accident before I could finish the word no I was TOLD someone definitely had an accident in my car!! I replied, well no one told me about it and they were nice enough to repair the damage and put my car back without me knowing ;-) don t answer the phone guys..these fools are opportunists!

Persistent offender of harassment calls. Uncle Buck Finance LLC. They disguise their caller id using literally dozens of different numbers, all of which transfer to collections. It means you cannot easily use a call blocker to filter out these calls. But keep adding their numbers to your blocker, does help. When challenged to identify themselves, they state they are calling from UB. Ask for the full company name and corporation number, ICO number and FCA registration number for identification purposes.

is it not time that all mobile companies put a block on these numbers, after all we are paying them for a service, they keep coming up with new phones, so you can block a number yourself, but in order to do this you have to have a phone or tablet that can do this, so we should all protest to mobile or BT companies to sort this out now

This is an Amazon Prime scam. The prerecorded message says that if you don't press 1 you will be recieving a £700 odd Iphone. This is an obvious scam so I just dropped the phone.
This number has tried calling several times cannot call number back no one on the other end of the line when answering caller just hangs up.
I booked a male stripper in York from this number last weekend I got what looked like a generated curtesy text a few days later asking for feedback and had not saved the number so had to research and yes its called UK Strippers and Kissograms and I think based in or near York

Scam call, recorded message saying that I had committed tax fraud and there was an arrest warrant issued in my name. That I needed to press a number to talk to one of the tax representatives. I just hung up and blocked the number.
