Anytime I pick it up there is no answer/silence at the other end. Calls me 2-3 times a day and really makes me want to do this person wrong, whoever they are. Blocked it, so at least do not hear the ring, but still appears on my calling list.

i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. SCAM / SPAM Washing machine insurance scam. Phishing with incomplete or incorrect information, and hinted that their details differ from mine because I've recorded them incorrectly. Lots of supposedly tempting discounts, and lots of glib excuses for the differences or lack of information.
The amount of stupid comments here saying its spam or harassment is unbelievable. The number is from DWP.

Call arrived whilst I was in the republic of Moldova. I work with victims of child-trafficking in that region and my number is only used for emergencies from agencies relating to the subject. Consequently, I tried returning the call with several connections, but the call eventually dropped out. When I returned home discovered I still had to pay for the calls at a rate of GBP£1.27 per connection, plus the same cost for having answered the incoming call! Caveat Emptor!

Had a bunch of missed calls from this number. When I finally managed to answer, the person on the other line just said "Goodbye" and the call got disconnected. Come to think of it, it sounded more like a robo-voice than an actual human being. Probably was some computer-generated call. I just wonder what they were trying to accomplish with it?!
