I think fraudsters hi jack a genuine number but unrecognised to you and use it to divert you to a recorded message about your national insurance number being used and stolen. If you disconnect and call the number back the genuine holder of the number answers and is bewildered
I ve been harassed by this number for weeks. Finally decided to answer the call and after no introductions (who they were, from what company)I was asked why I cancelled my sky package.
