SCAM Car accident claim scam pretending to be working in association with LV. I played along with this to extract as much info as possible to warrn others. They had a surprisingly and slightly worrying amount of information and data. It would seem there might be a source at LV for this that would know car details and driver details from 2 years ago. I know this as they referred to the principle owner who has passed away during that period and held the policy. I was a named driver during their period.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

Following up the block of a (legitimate) high value card transaction. The caller supplied (limited) sensitive information and requested (limited) confirmation. Good f/u & welcome protection.
SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.
