I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.

I got a WhatsApp message from this number saying Hello. I thought the number was a bit odd so ignored it. The number appeared as +1 (581) 393-9716
O2 scam, if your on o2 your at risk as the scammers go on o2 website enter the code you give them then hey presto they are into your o2 account.
Call center. I answered the call, although I was suspicious as I didn't recognize the number. I said hello, 5 or 6 times, there was a clicking on the line, then a foreign-sounding female voice finally said hello. I said "you took your time answering, didn't you" at which point the call was disconnected.

This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!
