They called pretending to be from Amazon asking for a payment.

Any number that calls and hangs up when you answer is probably linked to scammers.

Phoned me and charged £10

This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Sophisctated scam pretending to be from Halifax fraud team, then trying to request security code from an online transaction made by them when you receive the security message from Halifax with a 6 digit code

THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS PHONE NUMBER. It is a supposed guy who hooked me up in a popular dating site (Happn) and he is trying to make me "invest" money in a fake Medtronic site: medtronic-vip.site. Please report this to the police ASAP, this is real, I have all the chats in my phone and I am available for questions from the police too. I did not fall in the trap, but other people are at risk! Claimed to be a solicitor but the comments ive read state its a debt collection agency. They spoke so quickly on the phone unable to remember the name of the company to research if they real or scam.

The man with an Indian accent claimed that he is from Virgin media but asked if I'm with Virgin. When confronted being a scammer, hanged up.

Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from Vodafone. Hung up on me when I asked a couple of very basic questions.

I never take out maintenance contracts on anything as a matter of principle, as it generally works out cheaper to pay as you go, so I know this isn't true. Claim to be fraud squad identifying whether a couple of large transactions were authorised? Asked to press 1 or 2 if you allowed it or not. Never chose anything.

Female Indian voice very pushy saying I'm eligible for an iPhone 14 wouldn't disclose network asked if I was interested I said no as I keep getting phonecalls from this number and noted a scammer I told her this was the case she became abusive and terminated call

Unless Royal Mail are now being run by scum in Russia, this phone number is sending texts from Guandzha in the Russian Federation to UK mobile numbers stating that Royal Mail have missed a parcel delivery to UK addresses. Of course DO NOT click on the link to rearrange a delivery !

As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

Claimed to be "Energy Saving Trust" but it was a sales call for loft insulation. Get these calls frequently; block the number each time then a few days later they ring from a different number.

Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.

Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked
