Told him I was not interested and he asked if I had any outstanding PPI, which I informed him that my personal details were none of his business. He then informed me there would be another call if I did not answer his questions, of which I informed him that this would be considered harassment. Welsh male then said that sound like a horrible person. I thanked him.

This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike. A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.

I answered this but no response. When I put the phone(mobile down the phone wouldn t work at all. Completely froze. It wouldn t shut down, reboot. Phone completely inoperable for about a minute. Very scarey, thought I had lost the whole contents. Be very careful. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!
