James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!

SCAM / SPAM Basically saying they are calling from Amazon prime and you have been charged for your subscription, I asked which card as I had three linked to my account, he couldn't tell me. So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. Always question ANYONE asking for your bank details

English sounding girl calling from she claimed to be Britains biggest Domestic Insurance company. She put the phone down immediately after I said "Excuse me, who are you?". She knew my name which surprised me. And I say "But, ..." and she put the phone down. No UK Insurance company will cold call you or put the phone down.

Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.
