Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Received a call from this number today, then decided to check out any reviews. The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. How are these people getting hold of my number? In addition I don t have a car hence, no accidents! Deffo BLOCKED...

The company seems to be based in 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10022 and there calls are about a documented takeover scam where they say a 3rd party wants to buy your worthless penny shares and need a bond. This is where they ask for money.
