Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. This number called asking about my banking with the royal bank of Scotland ( whom I don’t bank with ) a female with an English accent. When I questioned who she was they hung up.

Claimed to be a company called "Jeffrey Mason" going on about monies owed to me - They had my correct name though pronounced it incorrectly. Told them to quickly tell me what the call was about as I was in Critical Care and needed to keep my phone line free (which is kind of true, my mother WAS in Critical Care but now on a general ward) before I could finish what I was saying they hung up

SCAM Received a text from this number claiming a new payee was set up on an HSBC account and if I want to cancel it to click on the supplied link. I received an identical text from a different number about a week ago, they are scams.
The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.
