Automated message saying Amazon Prime membership has ended and you can reactivate by calling and paying £25. I don't have Amazon prime so this is a fraudulent caller.

This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

SCAM: this number sent me a text at 00:20 saying: Your Apple Pay has been suspended, please update your details by visiting:https://apple-wallet-id53.com This wasn’t from Apple or my bank, therefore it is NOT to be trusted.

Said they were from O2 offering to halve my phone bill. Sounded far too good to be true. A bit too persistent. I was very suspicious.

Got a text saying ‘Your parcel has been returned to our branch due to a failed delivery attempt. Please visit: https://evri-payment.com to reschedule a delivery’ I will not be doing that as I am not expecting a parcel. My parcel has already been delivered. May be legit but not taking any risks!!!!

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Message on my answerphone to say a money transfer had been made from my card (did not say which) in excess of £1000 which was unusual. Same message, and same voice, as made to my phone from 01491576783 yesterday so looks like a scam gang doing the rounds. Watch out.

2nd June 2023 - English-speaking female. Pretending to be Natwest bank asking for details in order to 'streamline' the account - quite obviously a scam number.

Fraud They said I had £87K in a cryptocurrency account with them ('Blockchain Support') I've never invested in crypto, so it must be some sort of phishing scam. I think they got my name and number via the June 2023 data breech at BBC etc.
