I was called by this number and an automated voice told me that I was being prosecuted for tax evasion by the police and asked me to press 1. Forever calling my 11yo sons mobile, this being a new mobile contract. Clearly cold calling and continue to harrass us, idiots! From now on I answer, appearing to be my local Police Authority. I ve done this with others and they promptly hangup and I never receive a call from them again. As for the TPS, complete waste of time. I and many others had an increase of calls once added, even on a completely new line where nobody had the number as it was used as a broadband only line by us.

This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.

SCAM I called the number back, a man told me someone had ordered a phone from my Amazon Prime account. The caller had also left an automated voice message saying something similiar.

SCAM This number is the same as mine for the first seven numbers but then the last three keep changing. I have been called numerous times by these people, always changing the last three digits. Gentleman had the wrong name and was talking about my existing life insurance policy asked him to remove my number was told this isn t a sales a call its a review of my life insurance policy they did not work for my policy holder as they know to contact me on a different number and normal communication is via email but the simple fact is they are working of old information using my wifes maiden name for my surname really clever

Another scamy company from manchester. Usually calls asking for Emily or Emily smith (had other calls from other northern based numbers asking for the same person . They are all phising for info via PPI, survey, selling newspaper subscriptions, new fuel contracts or telephone contracts. All scams!
