Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. SCAM 0161 488 0914. Caller said they were from Sky Technical Department and that there was a problem with my router and internet speed, which there isn't and never has been. Woman spoke with an almost inaudible Indian accent and refused to give her name or confirm my details. I hung up.
