SCAM - supposedly from HSBC about a new payee request, which I haven’t done. The link was clearly rubbish as it isn’t even spelt correctly!!

So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. Have received several calls to both a Vodafone and BT mobile number. Irritating sounding English woman called Julie, who requests information regarding the car accident someone had at the address. Obviously seeking information to scam folk out of, probably money. Reporting yo ofcom as this is a disgusting trap and highly annoying!!

Said that because they’d refunded an overpayment that my account may show in arrears and I may receive an automated letter due to this error. They will remove it but wanted to let me know that they may not be able to stop the letter. If they’re making this many calls for this reason they should probably just have sent an email to everyone!

Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!
