Got a call from these clowns this morning as too did many others it seems. Did not answer (standard practice for these London numbers not in his directory ED.), no message left, came here, found I was not alone, so going to block. Just tried to block and it came up with "invalid number", so filed it to my directory as "Ignore".
Get several different variations of this number (last 2 or 3 digits change) all blocked. Think its life insurance or some kind of insurance. Total nuisance

They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with accident chasers, insurance marketing, accident claims ...
SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.
