Don’t waste your breath talking to these people. Put the phone down on them immediately or if you are so minded, just tell them to **** off . . . they’ll get the idea.

This number is very active in harassing people at the moment. Saw on Scottish Power Twitter today customer complaint of this no. SP replied to DM Scottish Power with their number and they would remove from dialar. S P s admission it s their number ! Will S P remove their number ? Probably not, I know them only too well unfortunately, dirty.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).
