I ve had three calls today from 02088523462 five yesterday, every time trying to convince me that they are "Microsoft technical" that my computer is "sending them errors". I know this is bs and decided today to have a nice long conversation with them about my background in networks engineering and how I know it is bs, but I understand that the guy on the other line is only doing his job and reading a script and that if he doesn t get abusive with me we should be able to resolve this. Indian sounding guy, Sam , told me he was from BT and that my internet was downloading viruses, I played along with him for a bit, he asked me how many lights were flashing on my router, I said 57... he asked me what colour they were, I said purple, but I might be wrong as I m colourblind! I could tell he was getting narked by this (as he thought he was on to a good one initially), I then told him he should be ashamed of himself, and that he was a class A, 5 star C*NT!

Caller left garbled, unintelligible message - sounded like something to do with energy supply?

I live in the US, but this guy called wanting to know if I would take a survey about fast food chains. Was very odd and suspicious.
