Reading comments I bought a car from car base a few weeks ago, could be to do with that but missed call. Will probably block.

Like others used Anglian in the past. They call every month from different numbers even when you tell them you don?t want anything. They came round last week because ?they were in the area?. Very annoying. They sound desperate and for that I?m sad.

every fri i recieve calls from these numbers.been lucky enough not to answer them.i always check out the numbers.seems like they are all scammers.

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

Rubbish PPI claim - didn t say who he was calling from but convinced I had outstanding PPI I could claim

Got a call from this number - something about boilers - when I tried the number it doesn't exist. I have TP = where do these non-exisyent numbers come from?

Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Silent call, one of many from this number. Unbelievable that this sort of harassment cant be stopped

It seems its a scam as they called me as a car insurance company asking my bank card details for payming without sending me an email or post for the contract details!

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. Clarity is a charity who sell their products over the telephone. I am not too sure how they obtain the numbers that they call.

Accident scanners. The most annoying thing is that the code is my local one and as I am self employed, I had to answer. Wasted 5 mins of her life as a bit of revenge!!

Called to say I had been in an accident and they had received my file. Funny I ve never been in a car accident!! They hung up on me in the end as I was asking too many questions.

I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.
