Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. This number rang me on 29/10/20 with an automated message about trying to send an amount from a visa credit card. I hung up straight away as i knew this was a scam call.

Got a call from this number again asking for Mr Armstrong but did not say who they were, I told him the Armstrong’s have not had this number for about 4yrs to which he apologised and put phone down. We have been getting calls from this number for about 3yrs, I always the same thing as we do not know anyone with that name and they always call again!!

SCAM - Claimed it was the National Crime Agency looking into fraudulant activity on my NI number, with the threat that HMRC would block it. Have checked with HMRC. It is a scam. Am assuming the phone number was faked in some way, as it's surprisingly close to my own.
Missed call on my mobile but calling back does not work since the number is not recognised. I therefore assume it is a rogue caller.
