'Michael' claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was the main user of my computer. Although a Leeds number it sounded very long distance as if was coming from India. I hung up.

Was told we were in the wrong council tax band. We're paying to much. If we let them do the legal work for a fee of about £90 or so! It would be sorted out for us. I hung up on them. Pretty sure this is a scam

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. These are spoofed numbers calling landlines and mobiles in hope of catching people out if they know someone from Crewe and surrounding local towns that also use 01270 area code. When I said I was retired, she said I wouldn’t be eligible for a tax rebate when I asked what the reason for the call was. She signed off.

Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

I received a text from this number which is most likely phishing. The text was written in Swedish (I live in Sweden) and stated that I had an unpaid parking debt and provided a link - which I didn't follow. The link was "http://Inbq.link/ZYSDt8" I have no parking debts so can only presume that the link led to a site asking for my bank details.
