They called at 7.00am but rang off before we got to the phone. No message left. We've not had any parcel deliveries recently, nor are we expecting any. Could have done without them ringing as I was looking forward to a lie in.

I told her I didn't understand why she was phoning & where did she obtain my number. She said my number has been sold on a list. I then hung up.

I was advise to reach out to [email protected] for funds recovery but i never did at first cause i taught he was also a scam, after i tried to search for personal hackers who turns out to be scam then i decided to give a try and contact wizard Harry, he responded to me without asking for money initially, he looked into my case and then inform me how it can be done, so i gave him a go-ahead and he got my funds back. They just called me pretending to be from motability insurance asking about recent accident with my motability car. My car hasn’t been in an accident but is currently in for repair at the dealership following an RAC call out when my battery was flat and the car wouldn’t start. I don’t know how these scammers got my unlisted mobile number or even knew I have a motability car (which has a private plate on it). Someone has given them my personal information. Guy hung up when I was in mid sentence.

Some have said possibly 02 call centre - would have thought they would have a bit of respect at this time, especially on a weekend. I have had two calls 8th & 10th Sept. - Advice is to never answer calls unless number known to yourselves.

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Call from this number 020 7928 4189 on 22/03/2023 saying they were from my bank as two unrecognized payments were going out. As the number called is a work number there is no way it is a call from MY bank Yet another scam :-(
Call center - This is one of many similar numbers contacting me on my mobile and stating they are from O2 offering a 40% discount. Possibly a scam but also could be genuine. Unsure so always blocked and reported. Always ask for my number to be flagged to avoid constant calling but hasn't worked so far.

SCAM - They sent a text pretending to be my son, saying this was his new number and to delete his old number. Block.
It’s a scam. It’s a person that will tell you it’s renting an apartment and you have to pay in advance. Don’t fall for that scam.
This number called my 90 year old mother posing as the fraud department from the Bank of Scotland. He said 2 lots of money had left her account and they were chasing this up. Thankfully she phoned the bank and it was confirmed that these transactions had not happened. It was a scam, I think to get her personal details, not any account numbers - perhaps identity theft. He phoned her again today apologising for not phoning back yesterday but my mum was very blunt with her replies and he hung up.
