Foreign girl answered from a VERY buy call center and when I introduced myself as Police Scotland and asked how I could help her, she hung. They really muat try harder!

Fraud. Claiming to DPD local, I go onto DPD local’s actual site, using the tracking number provided by this number via a dodgy looking website and no parcel found. Do not trust this number nor pay anything to get a “parcel” redelivered. The website has a red banner at the top with the writing “dpd local” in white. Where as the actual site has a white banner with “dpd” in black writing and “local” in blue writing.

I just got a call from this number about PPI ,trying to confirm my details etc. I played along for about ten minutes then called his bluff. He started cursing and swearing at me down the phone but seemed a little taken aback when I gave him far worse than anything he was saying to me.

It s an incomplete number, at least for UK format, and unlikely to be identified.

I believe it's PPI. They have started to vary the numbers, but the dialing code is always a local one, so you think it's possibly someone you know.
