I called the number from a landline and got no response so googled the problem on line and came up with these responses. So very worrying as I knew nothing was amiss. Indian sounding guy, Sam , told me he was from BT and that my internet was downloading viruses, I played along with him for a bit, he asked me how many lights were flashing on my router, I said 57... he asked me what colour they were, I said purple, but I might be wrong as I m colourblind! I could tell he was getting narked by this (as he thought he was on to a good one initially), I then told him he should be ashamed of himself, and that he was a class A, 5 star C*NT!
