Called on my mobile, automated voice saying they are from my bank but didn't mention Which one saying they'd noticed large amounts coming out of my visa account. As I don't have a visa card I knew It was a scam. It was quite believable though. I might have pressed 1 as instructed

SCAM Called to offer IVA Debt Relief. Claiming to be from a company called Citizen Capital. Stated my name was sent to them from the government as someone who needed debt relief. They wouldn't accept that I didn't need help and I wasn't in need of debt relief - let alone an IVA!

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. (Doesn’t even say positive for what) Fools! I attempted to look up the web address on my iPad and it came up as non existent. Presumably they would have tried to make me pay for them.
