Claimed to be from Virgin Media and that I had a router problem. He wanted login details. Sounded like a foreign call centre.
Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.
Received a text message at 23.00 on 1st March 2020 from 66299 stating that I have joined Just-Discounts which I have no knowledge of doing. The telephone number in the text was 01458 553095 The text message reads FreeMsg: You have joined Just-Discounts costing £4.50 per text max 3 texts per month until you send stop to 66299 SP:Galaner 01458553095 [email protected] Anyone know anything about this?
