Safe number - NHS LOTHIAN – It’s a generic number that all appointment/surgery offices for the RIE, WGH, Astley Ainsley, Liberton, Chalmers, Lauriston etc hospitals all around Lothian use when trying to contact patients. It unfortunately doesn’t accept incoming calls and so the offices don’t know that you have tried to phone. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers, phishing for bank account details).
