Automated voice, something about £300. Hung up before it got any further.

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

I received this phone call at 6-02 on the 16/06/22. This was the second one I had in the last couple of days saying they had a delivery for me from the Range. The asked was I Lorna Davies and was she my granddaughter. How did they know how old I was??

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Ebay scam: you've allegedly purchased an expensive item which will be sent to a Manchester address. This number is the "ebay " assistance in case of problems etc.

A call saying he is from Carphone warehouse trying to sell iPhone 13 for £20 a month. I spoke to carphone warehouse they can’t do that deal. ????

Called stating they were from "VISA Security". I hung up after hearing that.

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Recorded message "bank alert" from bank "technical department" Usual same male voice used regularly for these scams from various numbers. Total pain and regarded as harrassment,. Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

SCAM Called to offer IVA Debt Relief. Claiming to be from a company called Citizen Capital. Stated my name was sent to them from the government as someone who needed debt relief. They wouldn't accept that I didn't need help and I wasn't in need of debt relief - let alone an IVA!
