This number, an automated woman's voice, called my landline today and purported to be the bank saying that they're checking a £600 payment from my bank account to somewhere abroad. As my bank say they'd never phone me for details such as this caller was asking I suspected a scam and put the phone down straightaway. SCAM

Fraud - most likely. Call from this number, no one on the other end but could hear a load of foreign voices talking about investments - avoid.

Fraud I was given this number to contact the Insolvency Service. When I got through I was convinced I was speaking to the same people who had given me the number, a cloned firm of Stoneford Holdings

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Number appears on a fake PayPal 'You've got a money request'. It is part of a warning that there has been suspicious activity on your (PayPal) account and to call this number - +44-808-196-3116. This is a fake warning added by the scammers, it is NOT a legitimate message from PayPal. If you call the number the Operator will ask to have access to your PC. This is likely where the scam will take place; either malware, key logger or worse.

SPAM Said he's from 'the online trading company' and is calling because I have shown interest in online trading - not true. I told him to get lost and hung up, he immediately called again before I blocked the number.

The call was allegedly from Sure Cover to revise my life insurance cover, then they said I was eligible for a better price and they tried to pass me to another department but I hang the call at that point. I searched and I found an article confirming it's a scam.

This number fraud team number don't call them bcz they are saying that we are travel agents but not bcz I already bad experience they £1600 steal my money from Bank account

Received a scam text message from this number late at night reading: "Hey mum, using friends phone cos my screen broke. can u msg my temp number on whats app 07379573194 x" I also then received another text saying "hi" from 07597207752, which I know also send the same text message above.

Guy with a foreign accent asking about diesel vehicles. Wanted my vehicle details even though we have no diesel vehicles. Very fishy.

Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!

Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.

silent then hung up. Usually what happens is I get some silent calls before the influx of thick Indian accents asking about my phone in the proceeding days. aka fishing for operational phone numbers via an automated dialer.
