An automated call claiming two payments had been taken from my account.

A call well away from the area I live, claiming to be dealing with energy supplies in my area, and problems with Government grants for loft insulation, but a problem has been found causing damp and mould in the loft insulation. An offer is made to check and replace the loft insulation, to then be charged for work that is simply not required.
SCAM Answer phone message left stating I need to speak with their ‘executive’ in regards to ‘suspicious activity’ on landline and internet activity ’press one to be connected’... Obviously, I didn’t press one. Highly suspicious, ignore at all cost!
Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. I suspect this phone number has been cloned and, given the caller's accent and the quality of the line, is being used by a call centre from abroad. Almost definitely a scam.
