01143033005 - Called this afternoon. They are the same fake HMRC criminal scumbags that are also using the number 01618508563. The recorded message says that they have been trying to contact you and that a legal action case has been opened against you and you must dial 1 immediately to speak to your case officer in a threatening sort of computer generated delivery. Just ignore it or report it via https://ico.org.uk/ and/or www.actionfraud.police.uk/

Claimed to be Industrial Workers Office. Would not say where obtained phone number. Were asking for my son whose name has never been in a phone book with the number being called. Having looked at this and other websites it appears to be another number being used to that already reported

applied for loan online. received loads of ph calls & sms claiming they can sort loan, just ph them to proceed. same as other people are commenting, you get given another number to ph, which is 09no. told cost of call will be refuunded, & loan never materialises. Obviously a scam, got be fair though all seemed very genuine in beginning. glad i looked into it in more detail. 1 to avoid in future, have now blocked number

Called three times in just over an hour, when my wife finally answered it and waited for someone to say something there was nothing until she said hello, they said hello back but very faintly, my wife hung up
ringing a number registered with tps but never leaves message and cannot ring back - suspicious and irritating.
Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!

Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. This company trawl the Internet for car sales adverts the call the seller saying they had been instructed by your insurance company to claim injury compensation, if there are pictures of your car they use the reg mark to try and trick you they are genuine. They are just fishing! Hang up.
