Text me claiming to be a mini cab service that I used in London and tried to get me to download their app. I have not used a cab in London for well over a year so not sure what their angle is but I certainly wouldn t trust them.

Silent call

Claimed to be from Trojan Telecom and to be calling to reduce my company s telephone bill. Trojan does exist but I doubt if it knows anything about this call. I dialled 1471 and was given the above number followed by a "please hang up" message, suggesting the number may well be fictitious.

Some half baked attempt to part the gullible from their money. Block them!

Debt collector. Had been receiving calls daily. Finally answered and they asked for my address and dob! Hung up and did research on the company. Called them back as I didn t think I had any debts. Gave them my details, but they had my old address. Confirmed that. call every morning, don t answer numbers I don t know. have done internet search and getting comments about PPI and accidents or just background noise. have niw blocked number

I hate picking up calls from numbers that I dont know. Turns out this was my Dad calling from a payphone at Heathrow airport as his mobile wasn't working, whoops.

I don t know why they give out 0843 numbers because they all seem to be used for these types of premium rate scams. If you register for the non-existant prize draw you are charged huge sums for every message you get from them until all of your phone credit is gone.
