They called me stating that they had called me over a month ago and I asked for them to review in a months time about a mortgage review, and whether they could save me interest, they proceeded to ask me who my mortgage lender was, when I informed them that I do not give this info out to random callers and that I would not ask for a call back as I am more than capable of identifying whether a review is required on my mortgage, they hung up with no mention of a goodbye, I am on TPS registry so again they are

I keep getting calls from these people. They say they can dramatically reduce business rates and make all sorts of claims and promises then you get a contract that is nothing like what they promise on the phone and you will be left with a bill to pay of around £500 and no proof that they misled you. Reported to be from Homeserve but in my Opinion if really Homeserve and you have an account with them, they would write to you rather the phone to make you an offer of a lower rate. Most likely sme sort of scam

This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

The number looked suspicious, and an on line search suggested that it was a scam call judging by the frequency with which the first 5 digits were used. I did not answer.
