I was called by someone calling himself "Yogi" allegedly from Carphone Warehouse and I renewed my contract through him with Vodafone. The incentive being a substantial cash back deal. The cheques never appeared and Vodafone do not know anything about the deal (so they say). Vodafone are refusing to honour the deal and I have reported them to trading standards and the communications commission as they are saying they cannot see on their system who renewed the contract. Yet another text claiming I have a package to be delivered and a dodgy link for me to book a delivery with. I haven’t ordered anything and I know the link is designed to steal information from my phone by a scammer.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Fast talking wanted my free available B&B rooms to sell, does not allow you to talk just wants her questions answered, when she asked a private information question I started to say "No I cannot tell you that" well I got to the No and she said oke tnx and slammed the phone down on me(How rude).
