Total scam caller... said he was from citizens advice... calling about debt! Hung up when I said I had none
My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.

Called today to say that they were calling regarding an accident my wife had in her car a while ago. Couldn t be true because she hasn t had one! The number was displayed as a local number which is why I answered it but the call didn t sound local.

SCAM - This number sent me a text message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, saying that I'd set up a new payment to Mrs H Benson, and if it wasn't me to go to https://cancel-online-newpayee.com, so I forwarded it to 7726 to report it as spam. Maybe you should too!

I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Another nuisance call regarding so-called debt reclaim.
Message left was incomplete. Robotic voice said “bank account. So enjoy using Amazon Prime Services or to unsubscribe from service speak to our Amazon Service Manager, press and 1.” I would not trust the fact that it is a mobile number, incomplete robotic Amazon message, etc. but cannot be certain.
