SPAM Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Was calling to sell me a new phone. I don't have any dealings with Carphone Warehouse
SCAM Had a number of calls recently offering a new iPhone. I don't use or like Apple products so they are wasting their time. 2 calls yesterday from 01208 247201 - missed the 1st, but they rang again withing seconds. As suspected, another iPhone scam call. That block of numbers is owned by Franzcom Telecoms in Bodmin, Cornwall. Something needs to be done to prevent these foreign scammers spoofing UK telephone numbers.
This number has tried phoning twice today. I ignored them and called back with a withheld number and the message said that they were called Claims Inclusive

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. A Company called "TheFull Financial.co.uk" claims it can claim on my behalf over ?11,0000 as a result of misselling of a half interest half repayment mortgage I took out in 2003. This is a research organisation that will be passed on your details when you use a service like Police, Fire, Local Authority or Social/Housing Associations. They get your number from one of these organisations. You can ask to delete your number and they do comply. If you don t want calls from this number, please be sure to inform the above associations you do not consent to your data being shared. They can be persistent and a nuisance if you don t answer and simply ask to delete your number.
