They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. SCAM or fraud. I reported this company to Action Fraud today - BAM Drainage Ltd. Company was set up in March 2020 and somehow managed to get a payment from my mother soon after. Ally my research points to preying on the elderly and vulnerable here. I have not been able to get through to the number on their website to discuss.

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service
